Our Commitment
To teach, inspire and upskill everyone working at VSHS to work from a more trauma-informed approach regardless of their role. This includes admin staff, managers, support workers and caseworkers.
To provide specific relevant trauma-informed advice to support all professionals with the intention of this informing their practice and skill set when working with bereaved people
To support the mental and emotional health of the people seeking support from the homicide service after a bereavement and helping them feel less alone
To raise standards, providing innovative solutions to training that will enhance practice and knowledge
